This means that 100% of our clients who actively utilize our program, attend sessions consistently, and receive ongoing instructor support have not failed their course.
When scholars commit to the process, we identify learning gaps, strengthen foundations, reinforce understanding, and support continued academic progress.

2. WHAT DOES “FIRST SESSION FREE” MEAN?
Exactly what it says: your first tutoring session is FREE.
Full disclosure: Your first tutoring session is completely FREE as part of a two-session introductory commitment. Your first session is free, and you pay only for the second session.
Sessions are typically scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your final schedule is discussed and agreed upon during your FREE Strategy Session based on tutor availability and academic needs.
No complicated formula. First session FREE. Two-session minimum commitment.
3. HOW DO YOU MATCH MY SCHOLAR WITH THE RIGHT TUTOR?
We do not believe in random tutor assignments.
During your FREE Strategy Session, we learn about your scholar’s current course, academic challenges, learning gaps, personality, schedule, and goals. From there, we identify a tutor whose instructional strengths align with the support your scholar needs.
The equation is simple:
The right tutor + consistent attendance + targeted instruction = stronger academic momentum.

4. HOW DOES ONLINE TUTORING WORK?
All tutoring sessions are conducted virtually through Zoom.
• A secure access link is sent before each session
• Sessions include live, one-on-one instruction and guided practice
• Students receive real-time support through our interactive digital whiteboard system
• Instruction is personalized around the student’s current course, learning gaps, and academic goals
The goal is simple: find the gap, strengthen the foundation, and build forward.
5. HOW LONG IS EACH TUTORING SESSION?
Each tutoring session is 60 minutes.
That time is used for targeted instruction, guided practice, concept reinforcement, and addressing specific learning gaps.
6. WHAT ARE YOUR TUTORING HOURS?
Tutoring is generally available:
• Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 9 PM
• Saturday and Sunday by appointment only
Availability may vary based on tutor schedules, subject demand, and peak academic seasons.
7. WHAT EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED?
For the best online tutoring experience, we recommend:
• A laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone, and speakers
• A reliable internet connection, with a recommended minimum of 50 Mbps upload and download speed
• A digital drawing pad, such as the XP-PEN Deco 01 V2, for effective use of the interactive whiteboard
The right tools help create a smoother, more interactive learning experience.
8. DO YOU OFFER TUTORING DURING SCHOOL BREAKS AND HOLIDAYS?
Yes. Tutoring may be available during:
• Summer break
• Winter break
• Spring break
• Fall break
• Major holidays
Availability is limited during peak seasons, so early scheduling is encouraged.
Math gaps do not take vacations, but the right support can keep them from multiplying.
9. WHAT IF I MISS OR NEED TO CANCEL A SESSION?
All cancellations should be submitted at least six hours before the scheduled session. If a cancellation is received with less than six hours notice, the full session fee may apply because that instructional time has been reserved specifically for the client.
If a client requests to reschedule at the time of a late cancellation:
• The session fee may be carried forward to the rescheduled session
• Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability
• Clear communication at the time of cancellation is required
For circumstances genuinely outside of a client’s control, administrative discretion may be applied on a case-by-case basis.
If LatePass.Com cancels a session:
• The client will not be charged
• Any payment may be applied to a rescheduled session or refunded
All cancellation and rescheduling requests should be communicated directly to the tutor and the LatePass.Com concierge team.
10. HOW DO I PAY FOR TUTORING?
Accepted payment methods include:
• Zelle with no processing fee
• Cash App with a 1.5% processing fee
• Credit card or PayPal with a 4% processing fee
Payment terms:
• Invoices are sent before or after each session
• Payment is due within one business day unless otherwise agreed
Late payment policy:
• A 10% late fee may be applied per session
• Future sessions may require prepayment
• Sessions may be paused until outstanding balances are resolved
Clear payment expectations help keep the tutoring schedule consistent and the learning momentum moving forward.
11. DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON TUTORING?
No. All tutoring sessions are currently conducted online.
Our virtual model provides greater flexibility, broader tutor access, and personalized one-on-one academic support for students and adult learners across multiple locations.
